My name is Famelly, but you can call me Fam. I am an interior designer, and here I share my projects, decor and DIY ideas. When I create spaces, my main goal is to make them functional while giving them a charm and aesthetic that people love living in.
Inspired by my island roots, I focus on spaces that feel fresh and relaxed, interpreted through a contemporary-minimalist style.
MY STORY
My love for design began when I was little, while my parents were remodeling our home. I remember being fascinated by how everything was built and installed. I was always drawn to art, although I first chose to study dentistry. A year and a half later I created Blossom Crown, designing and selling custom flower crowns. That project became my greatest motivation to switch to Interior Design. I completed my degree at Universidad Nacional Pedro Henríquez Ureña (UNPHU) in the Dominican Republic, and it remains one of the best decisions I have made.
I am Dominican and currently live in Florida. I work virtually with clients anywhere in the world, helping them create their dream spaces through personalized digital proposals and project execution.
I am also passionate about sharing what I know in a simple, accessible way through DIY projects, tips, recommendations and smart shopping, as well as through magazine and newspaper columns.
